CAS number: 34590-94-8
The study was conducted in compliance with GLP and equivalent to OECD Guideline 211 (Daphnia magna Reproduction Test), however only two test concentrations were tested.
The NOEC is 0.5 mg/L, as no effects were observed at the two test
concentrations 0.5 and 0.05 mg/L. The concentrations tested in this
study were set very low, despite the observed low acute toxicity
(EC50>1000 mg/L) of dipropylene glycol methyl ether.
The NOEC is defined as the test concentration immediately below the LOEC
which, when compared to the control, has no statistically significant
effect (p<0.05) within a given exposure time. Because a LOEC could not
be identified, it can be designated as >0.5 mg/L making the NOEC >= 0.5
