Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
EC50 (48) > 100 mg/L (nominal) for Daphnia magna (OECD 202)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a GLP guideline study following OECD guideline 202 waterflea (Daphnia magna) were exposed for 48 hours in a static test to ´2 -Propyn-1 -ol, compound with methyloxirane´ [BASF SE, 2013]. The aquatic toxicity was determined in a limit test with a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. No effects on the swimming mobility of daphnia were observed after 48 hours of exposure.
