Description of key information

Henry's Law Constant = 6.3 E-5 Pa x m3 x mol-1 (calculated)

Triafamone does not evaporate from the water surface into the atmosphere.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The Henry’s Law constant of triafamone (CAS No. 874795-61-6) was calculated in compliance with the Directive 94/37/EEC, Annex 1, Section 2, paragraph 2.3.2. The vapour pressure and the water solubility, used in this calculation, were determined in GLP guideline studies at 20°C (Vapour pressure = 6.4 E-6 Pa; Water solubility = 41 mg/L).

The Henry’s Law Constant expressed as Pa x m3x mol-1was found to be 6.3E-5 at 20°C in distilled water.
