Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected. The substance is not self-heating, it is a solid with a melting point below 160 °C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data on flammability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 or Directive 67/548/EEC, and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification: No propagation of burning in a test according to EU Method A.10. Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected.
