Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
> 180 - < 395 °C

Results

Both measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed no endothermic effects after the melting of the test item in the temperature range of 100 – 125 °C and before the exothermal decomposition in the temperature range of approximately 180 – 395 °C.

The test item has no boiling point at atmospheric pressure (1013.3 hPa) up to the exothermal decomposition.

yes
Decomp. temp.:

Results

Both measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed no endothermic effects after the melting of the test item in the temperature range of 60 – 115 °C and before the exothermal decomposition in the temperature range of approximately 150 – 445 °C.

The test item has no boiling point at atmospheric pressure (1013.3 hPa) up to the exothermal decomposition.

Description of key information

Pure grade: decomposition temperature 180 - 395 °C at 1013 hPa
Technical grade: decomposition temperature 150 - 445 °C at 1013 hPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Due to decomposition the boiling point for the test item could not be determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to OECD Guideline 103.
