Individual Results of the Measurement of the Surface Tension

The surface tension values of the two diluted aqueous solutions of the test item were determined.

The measurement was carried out at 20 °C +/- 0.5°C.

A correction factor (Harkins & Jordan) is included.

Mean (experiments 1 to 2): σ mean = 70.29 mN/m

Standard deviation:                    0.06 mN/m

Relative standard deviation:         0.1 %

The mean value, multiplied by the calibration factor (F= 1.0134) yields to: σ = σ mean x F= 71.23 mN/m
