Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a physician immediately. May cause burns or irritation of the linings of the mouth, throat, and gastrointestinal tract.
Ingestion: Call a physician immediately. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Drink plenty of water.
Skin contact: Wash skin with plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. After contact with skin, take off immediately all contaminated clothing, and wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids wide apart.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Extinguish with dry sand. Water spray. Foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Hazardous combustion products, Fire produces large volume of gases and toxic smoke.
Advice for firefighters: Protective equipment for fire-figthers, Self-contained breathing apparatus. Use air-supplied respirator, gloves and protective goggles.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Ventilate spillage area. Do not breathe dust, fume, gas, mist, spray, vapours. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Mechanically recover the product. Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters. Avoid generation and spreading of dust. Seal the container. Sweep or shovel spills into appropriate container for disposal. Use respiratory equipment with particle filter, type P1.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Do not breathe dust, gas, fume, mist, spray, vapours. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear personal protective equipment. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store locked up. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep cool. Keep only in original packaging.
