General Information

Name:
Phenol, paraalkylation products with C12-rich branched olefins derived from propene oligomerisation, reaction products with sulphur monochloride and decene, reaction products with polybutenyl benzenesulphonic acid, carbon dioxide and calcium hydroxide
Implementation:
EU
Type of classification:
self-classification
Remarks:

The substance does not meet the CLP or GHS classification criteria for Acute Aquatic Category 1, 2 or 3 or Chronic Aquatic 1, 2 or 3. However, it is considered that EC 903-161-2 meets the criteria for classification as Chronic Aquatic Category 4 ‘Safety Net’ H413.

However, the notification substance is a UVCB which may contain a constituent EC 310 -154 -3 (phenol, dodecyl-, branched) at 2.43%. This substance is a reproductive toxin and classified as Category 1B. At this % within the notification substance, the classification carries through, and hence the notification substance will carry a classification of Category 1 reproductive toxin, H360f (effects on fertility).
