Dispersing agent : HCO-40 (Polyoxyethylene Hydrogenated Castor Oil)
Method of dispersion:
Test chemical (2.2 g) and HCO-40 (22 g) were dissolved in 300 ml of acetone. Acetone was then removed by evaporation. The mixture was dispersed in dechlorinated tap water and filled up to 1 L.
Test concentrations:
Determination of exposure levels of test compound:
(1) The concentration which can be determined with accuracy is approximately 5 ppm (see Figures 4 and 5 attached)
(2) Concentration up to centuple (200 times) has been found possible at the preparation for test media analysis.
(3) In anticipation of recovery of 87% and the possible 30% loss of the concentration of the test material in the aquarium.
((5/(200 x (87 x 100) x ((100-30)/100)) = 0.05 ppm
As to the higher concentration level, it was fixed at decuple (10 times) of the lower level.

this corresponds to approximately
((5/((30/(2x5)) x (83/100)) = 2.01 ppm the concentration in the fish body, and is divide this by the mean aquarium concentration of 8 weeks, it corresponds to 5.3 times of the first level and 54 times of the second level.
As the concentration of compound in the testing vessel was found to be less than the nominal concentration, following additional experiment was carried out.
The test condition and results are as follows.

It seems that the presence of fish in the test vessel lowers the concentration of test compound. However, as shown in Table 1(under results incl. tables section), approximately constant exposure concentration was maintained.
