Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A test for determination of the partition coefficient cannot be performed because the test substance hydrolyzes in water. Therefore a QSAR calculation using a computer software manufactured by Advanced Chemistry Development Inc. (ACD, Toronto, Ontario, Canada) for the substance and the hydrolysis products was performed. In another QSAR calculation (EPIsuite v 4.0) the logKow of the hydrolysis product methylsilanetriol was determined to be -2.36.
