Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

20 °C

Additional information

One reliable key study is available (Processium, 2007) and is selected as key study. It has been performed on perchloric acid at 65.4% in water in accordance with the OECD Testing Guideline 104. A static method, specially developed for very low pressures was used. Vapour pressures were measured at 4 temperatures in the temperature range [323 – 293] K. Data were checked with the ANTOINE law.

The vapour pressure determined at 293.15 K (20°C) was 0.5 mmHg ( 71 Pa ).
