Dara from Handbooks: 19°C at 14.7 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The same value was reported in different Handbooks, so it was selected as key study.

It should be noted that perchloric acid is also manufactured and used in aqueous solutions having higher boiling point. The following boiling point values of aqueous solutions of perchloric acid are reported in the toxicologic sheet of INRS (Fiche Toxicologique - FT 141 - Acide perchlorique - INRS - edition 2009):

Aqueous solution at 50% : 132.4 °C

Aqueous solution at 61%: 162.3°C
