Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanone was determined according to EU test method A.15 (2008) and DIN 51 794 (2003). The result was 425 °C at 1002 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
425 °C

Additional information

The auto-ignition temperature was determined at 100 200 Pa instead of 101 325 Pa. The effect of the small difference in pressure on the auto-ignition temperature is considered to be insignificant.
