Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.038

Additional information

The test details the determination of the density of Alpha-Methylcinnamaldehyde (Cyprinal) as the quotient of its mass and its volume, using an oscillating densitometer. The method was carried out in accordance with OECD method 109, adopted 27 July 1995 under the section on Oscillating densitometer (liquids) with the procedure from ASTM 04052-09 applied. There was one deviation from the approved method: rather than using two liquid calibrants to calibrate the instrument prior to use, the instrument was calibrated using air plus one liquid calibrant as per the procedure for calibration in the instrument manual.
