Conclusion on classification

All E/LC50 values are greater than water solubility, as the substance is poorly soluble (0.15 mg/l). The substance is not readily biodegradable, has a BCF > 500 (1215 L/kg wwt) and LogPow > 4 (6). In addtion, the long term algae NOEC is equal or greater than the water solubility. A reproduction study with aquatic invertebrates was performed and resulted in an EC10 for reproduction of 84 µg/L. Also a fish early life stage test was performed, resulting in an EC10 of 15.7 µg/L.  According to the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 these values result in a classification of Aquatic Chronic Cat. 1, with hazard statement H410 'Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects'. The related M-factor equals 1, as the values are above 0.01 mg/L.
