Description of key information

According to OECD/EC test guidelines, no melting temperature of the substance was observed using DSC. At low temperatures it was found that the test substance was an amorphous solid. When the amount of 2 -(1,1 -dimethylpropyl)anthraquinone in the substance is high, the substance can be a yellow solid at ambient temperature. The melting point of this test material was determined to be 66.5 degrees Celsius.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-90 °C
