Description of key information

The substance is not explosive.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

non explosive

Additional information

The molecular structures of the components of this substance do not contain any chemically instable or highly energetic groups that might lead to an explosion. In addition, an interaction between the different components is not expected to occur. Furthermore, the oxygen balance was calculated for each component and these values are outside the region where there may be a potential for explodability.

Justification for classification or non-classification

2 -amylanthraquinone is not explosive, therefore, the substance does not need to be classified for explosiveness according to CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
