Description of key information

8.99 at 25 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Taking into account a pKa value of about 9 at 20 °C, the molecule will predominantly occur in the charged (cationic) form at environmentally relevant conditions of pH 6 – 8 (90 – 100 % ionization). At pH 9 the molecule will be present to each 50 % as cationic and uncharged species. At pH values > 9, DEA will predominantly be present as uncharged species.
