the substance is not PBT / vPvB

The substance is not readily biodegradable according to read-across to CAS 147 -14 -8 and CAS 12239 -87 -1 (OECD 301F, OECD 301C). It should therefore be considered as potentially P/vP from a precautionary point of view. Nevertheless, the substance is not B/vB based on an experimentally low solubility in water and octanol (see IUCLID Ch. 4.7). In addition,based on solubility ratio, the Log Kow was calculated for CAS 1328-53-6 being in the range between -1.6 and -0.4 indicating no significant potential for bioaccumulation. Moreover, based on a weight-of-evidence, it can be concluded that the substance does not fulfil the “B”-criterion since the experimental BCF values < 2000 (see IUCLID Ch. 5.3.1). The substance is not T since the lowest available chronic value is >> 0.01 mg/L (Daphnia: 21 -d NOEC > 1 mg/L, nominal, see IUCLID Ch. 6.1.4 ) and the substance holds no relevant classification.

In conclusion, the substance is not to be considered as a PBT/vPvB substance.
