Additional information

Experimental data on the acute toxicity of the test substance to aquatic invertebrates are available. Two studies were performed with the CAS 1328-53-6. The key study was conducted according to EPA-660/3-75-009. This study reviled the 48-h EC50of 154 mg/L (nominal, Clariant GmbH, 2007). The second study was conducted according to EU Method C2 and the 48-h EC50was determined to be > 500 mg/L (nominal, Sun Chem Corp, 1978). In all studies Daphnia magna was used as a test organism and no analytical measurements were performed.

In conclusion, based on the available experimental data it can be concluded that the substance is with high probability acutely not harmful for aquatic invertebrates.
