Additional information

Experimental data on the toxicity of the test substance to algae are available. The study with Desmodesmus subspicatus as a test organismwas performed according to OECD 201. The test concentrations were not analytically verified. The 72-h ErC50 value was determined to be higher than the highest test concentration of 100 mg/L and the 72-h ErC10 value was found to be also higher than 100 mg/L (nominal, BASF AG, 2000).

Based on the available experimental data, it can be concluded that CAS 1328 -53 -6 is assessed to be with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae.
