There is no potential for accumulation.

It has been demonstrated in vivo (rats) that dodecanedioic acid is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointesinal tract. The acid was shown to be introduced into the fatty acid catabolism and was therefore extensively metabolised by the organism. Metabolites are incorporated or metabolised to CO2.
