Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First aid inhalation: In case of symptoms of irritation caused by vapours in thermal processing: Provide fresh air, seek medical advice if necessary. Following inhalation of product dust: See that there is fresh air.
First aid skin: Wash off with plenty of water and soap. Following contact with hot product, cool quickly with cold water until pain ceases. Do not
remove congealed product from the skin. Consult doctor immediately.
First aid eye: Rinse with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician. In case of burns by molten product medical treatment is necessary.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: water spray, foam, CO2, dry powder
Hazards during fire-fighting: May be released in case of fire: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, organic products of decomposition. Under certain fire conditions, traces of other toxic products may occur.
Protective equipment for fire-fighting: Have ready/wear respiratory protection equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: In case product dust is released: Dust mask
Environmental Precautions: Should not be released into the environment.
Methods for cleaning or taking up: Use mechanical handling equipment. Transfer into suitable containers. To be disposed of in compliance with
existing regulations.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Avoid dust formation. Provide for appropriate exhaust ventilation and dust collection at machinery. In case of thermal
processing, provide for extraction of the vapours or adequate ventilation.
Fire and explosion protection: Normal measures for preventive fire protection. If dusts are formed: Take precautionary measures against static
charges, keep away from sources of ignition.
Storage requirements: No special precautions required.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Occupational Exposure Limit
RE-Freetext: DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Senatskommission zur Prüfung gesundheitsschädlicher Arbeitsstoffe) (2002). MAK- und BAT-Werte-Liste 2002, Mitteilung 38. Wiley-VCH (Weinheim, Germany).
Occupational Exposure Limit
RS-Freetext: MAK not established
Occupational Exposure Limit
Type of limit MAK (DE)
Advice on system design: In case of thermal processing, provide for extraction of the vapours or adequate ventilation. In case of dust being formed,
provide for adequate extraction.
Personel protection:
Respiratory protection: The wearing of a dust mask is sufficient in the event of dust occurring, e.g. during conveyance of the granulate or filter
cleaning operations.
Hand protection:
Type of material: nitrile rubber
Material thickness: 0.1 mm
Breakthrough time: 480 min
Eye protection: safety glasses
Industrial hygiene: Do not breathe dust.
Stability and reactivity
Hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.
Disposal considerations
Waste disposal of substance: With respect to local regulations, e.g. dispose of to suitable waste incineration plant. No waste key number as per the European Waste Types List can be assigned to this product, since such classification is based on the (as yet undetermined) use to which the
product is put by the consumer. The waste key number must be determined as per the European Waste Types List (decision on EU Waste Types
List 2000/532/EC) in cooperation with the disposal firm / producing firm / official authority.
Information on Registered Substances comes from registration dossiers which have been assigned a registration number. The assignment of a registration number does however not guarantee that the information in the dossier is correct or that the dossier is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (the REACH Regulation).
