Description of key information

The acute aquatic effects of Dodecane-12-lactam on Daphnia magna were tested by Infracor GmbH (2002). The immobilisation of Daphnia

was monitored at six test concentrations (+ controls) under static conditions over a period of 48 h

EC50(48 h): 59 mg/L

EC50(48 h): 59 mg/L 0(48 h): 59 mg/L 8 h): 59 mg/L ): 59 mg/L 59 mg/L 59 mg/L

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance on Daphnia magna was investigated by Infracor GmbH (2002) over a period of 48 hours according to OECD TG 202. Six test concentrations ranging from 13 to 245 mg/L were tested. The EC-values were estimated by Probit analysis and were as follows:

EC0 (48 h): 23 mg/L

EC50 (48 h): 59 mg/L

EC100 (48 h): 245 mg/L

The EC0 is equivalent to the NOEC ( concentration level where no effect was observed)
