Description of key information

Examination of the chemical structure of 1,2-dichloropropane shows that there is no functional group that could dissociate. The substance does not contain both, acidic or basic functional groups. 1,2-dichloropropane is not an ionisable organic substance and as non-ionisable substance will not tend to dissociate in water.
