Key result
Boiling pt.:
180 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013.3 hPa

Two measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range of 170 - 200 °C with an onset temperature of approximately 179 °C.

Conclusions:
The boiling temperature of Acrolein cyanhydrin acetate (ACA) was determined to be 180 °C at atmospheric pressure (1013.3 hPa).

Description of key information
