Details on sampling:
All concentration levels and the control were analysed via GC after 0h and 24 h (new media) and after 24h and 48h (old media). Recovery rates in all concentration levels were in the range of 86-100% in the new media and in the range of 55-75% in the old media.

The 48h EC50 based on geometric mean measured concentrations was calculated to be 0.431 mg/l (0.396 -0.470 mg/l).

Description of key information

In an acute immobilization study according to OECD202 (GLP study) with Daphnia magna conducted under semi-static conditions the toxicity of  Acrolein cyanhydrin acetate (ACA) was determined.

The 48h EC50 based on geometric mean measured concentrations was calculated to be 0.431 mg/l  (0.396 -0.470 mg/l).
