Additional information

In the acute immobilization test toDaphnia magna (STRAUS) the effects of the test item were determined according to OECD 202 (2004). Daphnia were exposed to water solutions of five different concentrations form 0 -100 mg/L. Observations were made at 24 and 48h of exposure.

48-hour EC50forDaphnia magna was estimated to be 35.4 mg/L (95 % confidence limits: 25.0 - 50.0 mg/L).

NOEC after 48 h was assessed at 25.0mg test item/L.

The LOEC was determined to be 50.0 mg test item/L.

The observed effects at the concentration levels 100 and 50.0 mg/L are caused by the low pH.
