In a study performed according to the OECD guideline 107, the log Pow of N-(3 -aminopropyl)iminodiethanol (APDEA) has been determined to be -1.74 ( Lumsden & Mullee, 1998).
The use of a QSAR to predict the log Kow is an appropriate technique and is suitable as a supporting study. The substance falls within the applicability domain of the model.The log Kow determined this way is -1.99 and thus confirm the experimental result.
