Description of key information

No toxicity of APDEA has been observed to zebrafish at the concentration of 150 mg/L (corresponding to 136 mg a.i. /L and measured concentration of 121 mg a.i./L).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a study performed according to the OECD guideline 203 (Shi lili, 2012), the acute toxicity of N-(3 -aminopropyl)iminodiethanol (APDEA) to zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) showed that under static test conditions, the maximum concentration causing no mortality (96h-NOEC) and the 96 h-LC50 of the test item to zebra fish are both greater than the concentration of 150 mg/L (corresponding to 136 mg a.i./L and measured concentration of 121 mg a.i./L).
