Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

A study was conducted to determine the sensitising potential of trans-N1,N1,N4,N4-Tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxamide in the local lymph node assay in mice. In conclusion, under the present test conditions,trans-N1,N1,N4,N4-Tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxamide at concentrations of 10%, 25% or 50% (w/w) in dimethyl sulfoxide did not reveal any sensitising properties in the local lymph node assay.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Under the present test conditions, trans-N1,N1,N4,N4-Tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxamide at concentrations of 10%, 25% or 50% (w/w) in dimethyl sulfoxide did not reveal any sensitising properties in the local lymph node assay in mice.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the criteria of EC Directive 67/548/EEC and EC Regulation 1272/2008 and subsequent regulations on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures and based on the results of the studies trans-N1,N1,N4,N4-Tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxamide is not classified.
