Description of key information

The test substance was tested in a manometric respirometry test according to the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals, No. 301 for 28 days to determine whether the test substance is readily biodegradable. At the end of the test period, a biodegradation rate of 20% of the ThOD was measured for the test substance. Because the biodegradation rate was < 60 % of the ThOD after 28 days, the test substance cannot be considered to be readily biodegradable under the test conditions. However, degradation rates up to 20% indicate a potential for biodegradation.
