Description of key information
The average solubility of PZT was found at 2.1 mg/L (with an amount of 10 mg per 50 mL of water) and at 3.4 mg/L (with an amount of 50 mg per 50 mL of water).

As the average solubility of PZT was found between 0.1 and 100 mg/L, the test item was considered slightly soluble in water. Increasing the amount of test item saturating the aqueous medium with a factor of five resulted in an increase of a factor of 1.6 for water solubility. This suggests that there is no direct relation between the loading of PZT per liter of water and the amount of lead appearing in solution.
