Additional information

The toxicity to aquatic algae was determined in a study according to DIN 38412 L9 (BASF 1989, 09968). Algae were exposed to concentrations of 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 mg test item/L. The effects on biomass and growth rates were evaluated after 0, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. After 72 hours an ErC10 and ErC50 based on growth rate of 173 mg/L and 652 mg/L were observed, respectively. The 72 -h EbC10 and EbC50 based on biomass were 44 mg/L and > 500 mg/L, respectively.
