Additional information

A short-term toxicity study (BASF 1988, 10F0172/885184) was performed with Leuciscus idus according to DIN 38412 (similar to OECD guideline 203). The fish were exposed to nominal concentrations of the test item of 10.0, 21.5, 46.4, 100 and 215 mg/L. After 96 hours of exposure mortality of 30 % and 100 % were observed in the two highest test concentrations of 100 and 215 mg/L, respectively. In the remaining concentrations tested no mortality occurred. Under the conditions of the present study, a 96-h LC50 of 115 mg/L was observed for Leuciscus idus.
