First-aid measures
Immediate medical assistance required: No
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).
Eye contact: In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.
Emergency Equipment: Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, foam, water spray (mist).
Unsuitable extinguishing media: -
Exposure hazards: High temperatures may liberate toxic or corrosive gases. Do not breathe smoke or vapours.
Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes. Notify police and fire brigade. Wear suitable protective equipment. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.
Environmental precautions: Prevent spilled substance from entering water supplies or water courses.
Methods for clean-up: Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. dry sand or earth), then place in a chemical waste container. Residue may be washed down with water. Shovel up residues and place in a labelled sealable container for subsequent safe disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Use only in well ventilated areas.
Storage: Store in dry, cool area. Keep at temperatures between 15 and 30°C. In case of storage in bulk for periods above 1 month, it is recommended to store under Nitrogen.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Skin protection: Wear protective gloves/clothing, coverall, hard hat.
Eye protection: Chemical resistant goggles must be worn.
Hand protection: Use neoprene rubber or PVC gloves (breakthrough time > 4 days).
Respiratory protection: EC approved respirator fitted with high efficiency (dust, fumes, mist) filter cartridges.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable under normal conditions. In case of storage in bulk for periods above 1 month, it is recommended to store under Nitrogen.
Materials to avoid: No materials to be especially mentioned.
Conditions to Avoid: Keep away from heat. Decomposes at > 200 °C.
Hazardous decomposition products: Oxides of carbons and phosphorus.
Disposal considerations
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations. Dispose of this material and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point. Do not discharge into drains or the environment, dispose to an authorised waste collection point.
