Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Based on Read-Across with 2,2-Bis(chloromethyl)trimethylene bis[bis(2-chloroethyl)phophate

In accordance with Annex XI, section 1 of the REACH Regulation, testing does not appear scientifically necessary. The equilibrium partitioning method as described in the Guidance for the implementation of REACH, chapter R.10 (ECHA, May 2008) is used to derive a PNECsediment. The toxicity of the related substance TDCP has been studied in detail, and it was found that the PNEC derived from these studies was similar to that derived by equilibrium partitioning. It is reasonable to conclude that the same would apply to this substance, and that the PNEC derived by equilibrium partitioning is sufficiently protective.
