Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
50.8 dimensionless

Additional information

Read Across with 2,2 -bis(chloromethyl)trimethylene bis[bis(2-chloroethyl)phophate.

According to methods given in the TGD a BCFfish has been estimated, based on a measured logKowof 2.83 ± 0.05.

BCFfish= 50.8 (range 46.0 – 56.0)

Toxicokinetic data in rats indicate that the material undergoes considerable metabolism in mammals. It is therefore likely that the BCF calculated on the basis of the logKow overestimates the bioaccumulation potential.
