Aquatic bioaccumulation

Based on the estimated log Kow of the individual components, the read across substance amides, C18(unsatd.), N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) had a BCF value estimated to be 112.53 L/kg wet weight (log BCF = 1.93) according to the BCFBAF v3.01 model of EPIWEB v 4.1. Based on this data and considering the ready biodegradability and effective metabolism in mammals, amides, C18(unsatd.), N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) is assumed to have a low aquatic bioaccumulation potential. On this basis, it is assumed that HE Rape Oil, reaction product with diethanolamine will have a low aquatic bioaccumulation potential also.

Terrestrial bioaccumulation

Based on the estimated log Kow of the individual components, the read across substance amides, C18(unsatd.), N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) had a BCF value estimated to be 112.53 L/kg wet weight (log BCF = 1.93) according to the BCFBAF v3.01 model of EPIWEB v 4.1.

Amides, C18-unsatd., N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) is expected to have low terrestrial bioaccumulation potential based on its low BCF value, ready biodegradability and effective metabolism in mammals. On this basis, it is assumed that HE Rape Oil, reaction product with diethanolamine will have a low terrestrial bioaccumulation potential also.
