Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The weighted-average Koc and log Koc values of the read across substance amides, C18-unsatd., N, N-bis(hydroxyethyl) using the MCI (Molecular Connectivity Index) approach of the KOCWIN v2.00 program (EPIWEB v 4.0) was estimated or calculated to be 1717.21 L/kg and 3.17 respectively. Based on read-across these values will be used for the assessment of HE Rape Oil, reaction product with diethanolamine.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
1 717.21

Other adsorption coefficients

Type:
other: Koc
Value in L/kg:

Additional information

By using the MCI (Molecular Connectivity Index) approach of KOCWIN v2.00 program (EPIWEB v 4.1), the values of the Koc were calculated for the individual components of the read across substance amides, C18 -unsatd., N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl). The Koc value was finally calculated on a weighted-average basis using the mole fractions of all the individual components.

The weighted average Koc and log Koc values was estimated to be 1717.21 L/kg and 3.17 respectively.

Based on read-across these values will be used for the assessment of HE Rape Oil, reaction product with diethanolamine.
