Additional information

Although this study wasperformed above solubilitylevel, under the study conditions no toxicity to the organisms was detectedand no visible effects occurred during the 48-hour test period.

In the study the water solubility value was taken as EC50 due to technical difficulties in detection of the actual concentration of the sustance in the water. In a recent water solubility study for FR-245 (2005) the water solubility of the substance was under the limit of detection in the study and was determine to be less than 1ug/l due to the same technical difficulties. The value of 1mg/l is taken as the actual water solubility value of the substance.

The substance water solubility value of 1ug/l is taken as a worst case scenario for PNEC calculation.
