Results:
The decomposition energy of the test item in the DSC was < 300 J/g,
therefore no further tests were necessary.

Results

Residual moisture

The test item contains a residual moisture of < 0.1 wt.-% which was determined by drying the test item under vacuum.

Thermal stability (DSC)

The DSC runs PN416 and PN417 are shown in figure 1 and figure 2, respectively.

In the temperature range of 210 – 240 °C an endothermic process with an energy of +40 J/g is observed.

An exothermal decomposition was observed at a temperature of 370 °C.

This process proceeds up to the maximum temperature of 500 °C and exhibits a decomposition energy of approximately -150 J/g up to the

final measurement temperature of 500 °C.
