Additional information

3 in vitro studies were performed to assess the mutagenicity potential of FR-245:

Ames test: The substance was found to be not mutagenic in the Salmonella typhimurium reverse mutation assay.

Chromosome aberration: This substance was found to be not clastogenic in human lymphocytes.

In Virto mammalian gene mutation test: This substance was found to be not mutagenic in the mouse lymphoma L5178Y test system.

Further to the results of these studies it can be concluded that FR-245 is not mutagenic.
