Description of key information

The test on oxidising properties is not applicable for organic peroxides. In the CLP regulations organic peroxides are not oxidizers. They are classified in a distinct hazard class. See also ECHA guidance on the application of the CLP criteria, section 2.14.

non oxidising

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the reasons indicated above the test substance is not classified and labelled with respect to oxidising properties according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the eighteenth time in Regulation (EU) 2022/692.
