Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Acute toxicity to fish

The acute toxicity to fish was assessed according to OECD guideline 203 and EU-method C.1. In a 96-hour semi-static test with Zebrafish, the LC50 value was determined to be 39.6 mg/L (measured concentration, geometric mean). The no-observed-effect-concentration (NOEC) was 19.2 mg/L.

Acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The acute toxicity to invertebrates was assessed according to OECD guideline 202 and EU-method C.2. In a 48-hour acute toxicity test with Daphnia magna, the EC50 value was 4.31 mg/L (measured concentration, geometric mean). The no-observed-effect concentration (NOEC) was 2.67 mg/L (nominal concentration).

Acute toxicity to algae:

A test following EU method C.3 and in accordance to OECD Guideline 201 with Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata revealed a 72-h EC50 (growth rate) of 3.2 mg/L and a 72-h EC10 (growth rate) of 1.8 mg/L. The 72-h NOEC (growth rate) was 0.993 mg/L. The data is based on the measured geometric mean concentrations of the active ingredient. Based on the mixture (52 % active ingredient in isodocenane), the EC50, EC10 and NOEC are calculated to be 6.4 mg/L, 3.6 mg/L and 1.986 mg/L, respectively.
