Photolysis in air of 4-MTHPA was estimated by QSAR calculation using EPIWIN. The rate constant was determined to be 20.288 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec and the photodegradation halflife is estimated as 18.979 hours
Similar calculation has been performed for different isomeric forms of MTHPA. The rate constant was determined to be 61.2669 -90.6536 X 10 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec and the photodegradation halflife is estimated as 1.416 -2.095 hr (Range given for different isomeric forms of MTHPA).
