Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

particle size distribution (granulometry)

study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
Key result
Remarks on result:
other: Migrated from fields under 'Mass median diameter' as D50 percentile. No source field for Standard deviation.

Description of key information

Granulometry has not been investigated because the test item has been demonstrated to have a pour point of 39 ± 3 °C. This means that particle size influencing toxicological profile is unlikely to be relevant to a waxy solid at ambient temperature.

Additional information

Human exposure to the test material is considered to be unlikely because the determined vapour pressures of 0.555 Pa at 25 °C and 2.68 Pa at 40 °C indicate that the inhalation route is of negligible importance.
