Justification: In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, a test for ready biodegradability does not need to be conducted as the substance is inorganic. Further biotic degradation testing is not necessary so long as the Chemical Safety Assessment, conducted according to Annex I, does not indicate that it is required. The process of biodegradation is not a relevant fate pathway for inorganic tungsten compounds such as this substance.
