Description of key information

  • Data waived - Study scientifically not necessary / other information available. The study does not need to be conducted because the melting point is above 300oC.
  • No data are available for vapour pressure of nickel sulphate, as reported in the EU Risk Assessment for nickel sulphate (2008-2009). Column 2 of REACH Annex VII provides the following exemption: A vapour pressure study does not need to be conducted for solids which either melt above 300°C or decompose before boiling. The melting point for the anhydrous form of nickel sulphate is >800°C; see IUCLID Section 4.2 and the “Overview of physico-chemical properties” table above (Table 7).
