Poorly biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The biodegradability of the substance is assessed based on a category approach. The category members are composed of an analogue organic part that is laked with different metals. Due to the characteristics of the bonding a disintegration of the molecule at environmentally relevant pH is not expected. Biodegradability data are available for different members of the category. In all studies no significant biodegradation was observed (i.e. <20%). Based on this information the substance is assessed to be poorly biodegradable.
